Augment Demo (Craft of Gamedev Assignment)
A downloadable demo for Windows
About Augment:
This short demo was created as an assignment in my first year as a Game Design student, and was my first time making a polished product in Unity.
(I got 100%! :])
Below is the README attached to the submission:
Augment is a 2D platformer in a world where perception isn't just computer-generated. Flip upside down, uncover hidden routes and rewire your way up from Point Zero.
This build includes the first level of the game (Point Zero) which demonstrates all of the core gameplay features and more.
Tilesets used:

All tilesets are remixed with new colour schemes to match the main character.
Assets outside of the tilesets (the player, keycards, and title screen) were created by me.
- Some sound effects were created with ChipTone by Tom Vian: https://sfbgames.itch.io/chiptone
- Other sound effects were obtained from freesound.org with Creative Commons 0 licensing.
- Menu Music created by Callum Cottingham.
- Point Zero's level music uses "Crossroads" from Hollow Knight.
